More Christmas

Christmas at the Villa

Everyone was home for Christmas morning. Becca, Andy, and Maia came in from Alaska Dec. 15 and visited back and forth with us and the Pucketts and then were at our house for Christmas Eve. Erin had to work Christmas Eve. Shannon, Madeleine, and Noah spent Christmas Eve with us and we all went to church where Dan preached to the children about the Little Drummer Boy, Becca's favorite Christmas carol. Chris and Maggie came in Christmas morning and were with us all day. Christmas morning was a small riot with all the babies.

Decorating

I am still learning how to put pictures in this thing so bear with me. The previous post was supposed to have more pictures but it got complicated. Maybe I'll come back and maybe I won't. On to new subjects: Christmas in our new house. A lot of my old decorations didn't work very well in the new place so we had to start over a bit. Madeleine and Noah helped decorate the family tree downstairs.

Catching Up

Our children complain that we don't post often enough and change the page so that will be one of my resolutions. First, I never got pictures of the ice storm up. We were out of power from Sunday to Tuesday. We used camp lanterns and stoves, and the worlds largest kerosene heater. It was like the old days with the kids when we would play Little House on the Prairie!

Learning how to add more pictures

Erin is teaching me how to add more than one picture at a time to our blog. These will be random pictures from NCYC and the watch party at Chris and Maggie's, I hope.

Catching Up

It had been so long since we posted anything we had to restart our password. We had a holiday with Aunt Ethel, Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Calvin and Chris and Maggie for Thanksgiving dinner. It was a really nice day. Saturday we all gathered at Chris and Maggie's for the Big Game. We tailgated in the driveway, in freezing temperatures. We wanted to be in solidarity with the folks at the game in KC. It was an unbelieveable game and now maybe Chris (and Maggie!) can have a little peace, until next Saturday's Big Game for the Big 12 championship. I have other pictures to catch up with. It will not be another 6 weeks before we post again!.
